Lucy Crowe | soprano

Lucy Crowe has established herself as one of the leading lyric sopranos of her generation. She has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Chicago Lyric Opera, the English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and the Canadian Opera, where roles have included Adina, Sophie, Gilda, Susanna, Rosina and Iole.

On the concert platform she has worked with the Philadelphia Orchestra/Nézet-Séguin; the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra/Haïm, Oramo and Nelsons; the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment/Mackerras and Egarr; the Scottish Chamber Orchestra/Mackerras and Nézet-Séguin; the Monteverdi Orchestra/Gardiner; and the Accademia Santa Cecilia Orchestra/Pappano.

Recordings include a solo Handel disc – ll Caro Sassone – with Harry Bicket and the English Concert on Harmonia Mundi.
